The Temple Scroll

In the Dead Sea Scrolls Conservation Laboratories of the Israel Antiquities Authority – the only laboratories in the world that treats the Judean Desert Scrolls (the Dead Sea Scrolls) – a three meter (90 feet) long section of the Temple Scroll, was conserved and prepared for shipment prior to its display in an exhibition in the Martin Gropius Bau in Berlin.

This is the first time that such a large section of one of the principal and most important scrolls will be sent to an exhibition overseas.
